Hotel Front desk associates are responsible for greeting guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and providing information about the hotel's facilities and services. The front office is the first point of contact for guests and plays a significant role in shaping their overall impression of the hotel. Key responsibilities in this area include guest services, reservations, check-in and check-out procedures, managing guest inquiries and requests, and coordinating with other hotel departments to meet guest needs. Working in Front Office provides ample opportunities to involve managing guest feedback and complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction, and resolving any issues that may arise during a guest's stay. One can start his/her career as a front office associate and with hard work and commitment, he/she can move up to become a Front Office Executive, Lobby Manager, Front Office Manager, Front Office Director and General Manager. To succeed in a front office career, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach are essential.
