Food & Beverage Steward

A Steward is responsible for serving Food and Beverages in a restaurant, in room dining and banquet functions, efficiently and in a courteous manner. The role involves serving food and beverages to guests of the hotel, restaurant or banquet function. It entails greeting and seating of guests, taking down their orders, providing them with requisite tableware, food & beverage items and then clearing used dishes and settling the customer’s accounts as per company’s policy. The Steward is the primary point of contact between the customers and the hotel/restaurant and plays an important role in providing quality customer service. Working in Food and Beverage service offers a wealth of opportunities for professional development and advancement for those committed to the hospitality industry and to working in food and beverage service. 

 The Food and Beverage (F&B) industry is one of the highest paid industries in the hospitality service sector. Food and Beverage industry has been growing well and providing large opportunities to professionals in this field.
