Housekeeping Operation

Housekeeping Operations is a Residential Skilling Program and the overall program duration is 19 weeks. The below table provides further details around how these 19 weeks will be organized. All training sessions will be conducted in the English language.

  • Academy and Housekeeping Operations Overview
  • Understanding the aspirations and expectations of the students
  • Setting the expectations from the Academy
  • Real Life Exposure to the professional life as Housekeeping Associate
Week 02 – 07
  • Class-room sessions on Housekeeping Operations curriculum
  • Practicals on Housekeeping Operations curriculum
  • Sessions on Language/Communications training
  • Life Skills training
  • Activity based learning, Role Plays, Projects and periodic assessments
  • Guest Faculty Lectures
Week 08 – 19
  • On The Job Training at a Hotel (or a Resort)
  • Students will have to appear for interviews and qualify for On The Job Training. Academy will arrange for potential employers to come to the Academy and evaluate students for OJT assignment. Employers will pay stipends during OTJ as per their organizational policies.
Post OJT
  • Upon completion of the assessment, Certificates will be awarded to successful candidates.
Daily Routine During the Program

Trainees will be expected to follow a well-defined schedule that would require them to be engaged in classroom training, practicals, and various fun-filled activity-based assignments from morning till late evening every weekday. A 6-day week schedule will be followed and Sunday will be the weekly off.

Cost of Joining the Skilling Program

All the selected students will be provided a scholarship that will cover the following expenses which make the program virtually free of cost.

Registration Fee & Commitment Contribution

Students must pay a registration fee of ₹3000 to enroll in the program. Students must be committed to attend and complete the Skilling program to reap its benefits. Towards this, they will be requested to make a one-time contribution of 5000 Rs (fully refundable) once they qualify and register for the program. If students sincerely work towards building their Career for one-year post successful completion of the training, Commitment Contribution will be fully refunded back to them. For the convenience of students, the Registration Fee and Commitment Contribution can be paid in easy installments.


Out of Pocket (OPE) expenses.

No Out of Pocket expenses will be paid during the training. Students will have to pay for their personal expenses outside of tuition, boarding and lodging.


Post completion of 19 weeks of training, candidates will appear for an Assessment conducted by our Assessment Partner as per the Certification schedule. Successful candidates will be issued a certificate for completion of the Housekeeping Operations Program. Our Assessment Partner is a reputed Assessment and Certification body empaneled with Tourism and Hospitality Sector Skill Council.

On the Job Training (OJT)

Students will be required to do On the Job Training for 12 weeks starting Week 10 of the program. Students will have to appear for interviews and qualify for On the Job training assignments. Academy will arrange for potential employers (Hotels and Resorts) to come to the Academy and interview the students for On the Job Training assignment.

Placement Support

Placement support will be provided for Full-Time Employment upon successful completion of the program
